Morecambe’s splendid bay, famed for its sunsets, is an esteemed wildlife habitat. This is reflected in the redesigned seafront promenade with its Stone Jetty and in the Tern public art project. Morecambe’s famous art deco Midland Hotel has opened its doors again. Lancaster has a wealth of history and heritage for you to explore and boasts many attractions, museums and galleries. The Lune Valley, situated between Kirkby Lonsdale and Lancaster, meanders through a landscape of natural beauty with unspoilt villages and historic churches.

MORECAMBE - Festival Market Hall is open Tues, Thurs, Sat and Sun. The Promenade and West End offer a mixture of shops including traditional and specialist shops. LANCASTER'S central shopping area is a traffic-free pedestrian zone and includes two covered shopping centres - St. Nicholas’ Arcade and Marketgate.
