Places to Visit

Hastings Castle houses the audio-visual 1066 Story. The East Hill Cliff Lift is Britain's steepest funicular railway and rises to Hastings Country Park. Other key attractions include Smugglers Adventure, Shipwreck Museum, the Blue Reef Aquarium and Hastings Museum & Art Gallery.
New for 2012,The Jerwood Gallery, a world class facility housing a collection of 20th & 21st century British art will be opening on the Stade.

The White Rock and the Stables theatres provide a comprehensive programme of entertainment. Hastings Old Town's Electric Palace is an alternative cinema with its own bar. There are also several nightclubs and many bars around the town. 'Stade Saturdays'is a programme of open air performance art events on the Stade Open Space, weekly from May - October.
