Destination

Forest Heath is a district of contrasts from rolling chalk down-lands around Newmarket, the fens in the east and the Brecks in the west, to the forest fringes in the north. Forest Heath is a district rich in history, Charles II favoured Newmarket and established a palace in the town "Palace House built in 1671", the district is home to the largest lowland forest to the north as well as having two American air force bases at Lakenheath and Mildenhall.

Mildenhall is the home of the United States Air Force base at Mildenhall and Mildenhall Museum the home of the Mildenhall treasure 32 pieces of Roman-Germanic Silver.
